Onidere – a visual retrospective

Rather… did the art really get better or is it just me?

Alternate text!!!!!!

Sowa sowa~

You know when there’s something you don’t like, but you get forced despite going “Nooo~” and such, but then eventually grow to enjoy it?

… Like my first experiences with salmon sashimi — I don’t know what you sickos people were thinking of!

Anyway, feels like Onidere‘s art became 10x better since the first chapters but as sage pointed out, much like Higurashi, people just… got used to that shitty art shit style.

A cute story despite being repetitive. Nothing really new but a convenient way to pass the time. I’d recommend for those who can bear the art at the start and want a mindless mango [1].

[1] Mindless –> zombie?! Noooooooooo!!

Don’t worry, it’s not you going crazy, the art did improve. Like it usually does for manga by new artist, they always get better the more they draw their characters.
But yes there is a bit of us getting used to the shitty art.

    WP3.0!!!

Hey, uh… like a true girl’s first time >_> I wasn’t thinking that, just saying it.

Hmm, dammit, this goes on the list! It’s cool when art becomes more familiar and thus more appealing. Actually I think that happens with almost anything we visually perceive; when we have to work to see the attractive side, it might just pay off greater.

Thanks for the heads up… oohh and new default theme too <3
You have a good point about becoming accustomed to “art” (broadly), unless it’s a close relative (stylistically) to something I know, I usually find it takes a while to become entirely comfortable with the nuances.
