Bite-Size Movie Reviews of the Month — Feb 08

I’ve been a little busy this month, so the list is much shorter.

The Lookout – The gimp is Kyser Sose.
Chinatown – Stuff happens. Whatever.
American Gangsters – Three hours of Denzel Washington, Russel Crowe, and blue magic, what more can you ask for.
Juno
- Wizard.
In the Shadow of the Moon – Space wizard.
Persepolis - Jichael Mackson is not ded!
Across the Universe – If nobody can be everybody, then someone can be… anybody… right? oh wait. There was no plot after all.
Atonement - I actually adore this film. I can’t say much without giving anything away, but ending is not as effective as it could have been potentially.
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly - I am very upset by the absence of eye patches. Yarrrr.
I’m Not There – No. You probably aren’t there. Neither am I. You’re not her. She’s not here. Here is purple rose monkey testicles. Don’t look at yourself.
